Welcome to Not Me! Monday, where we can be brutally honest with each other, and live to tell about it. When you are finished here, head on over to MckMama's blog to see a list of more not me's. You will be so glad you did!
What a week...good thing none of this really happened to me!
I did not have to take Tutti-Frutti to the pediatrician this week because he was sick. That would have been no fun to spend the better part of an entire morning sitting in the waiting room.
Also, while I was not sitting there, there would have been no way that I would have met the nicest lady. After not talking to her for a while, I in not way found out that she is pregnant with her ninth (yes, I said 9th!) child. When she told me that, I most certianly did not get excited and wonder what that would be like. What, am I CRAZY?!
She also did not tell me that they were taking the 9 children to Disney World! OMG! They are taking 9 children to Disney World? And I am freaked out about what it will be like taking 4 this time around! HA! We have it made.
After we were moved back to our room, I absolutely did not wonder, out loud to my husband, what in the heck her husband does for a living that would allow 1) them to have 9 children and 2) to be able to take said children on a vacation to Disney World. You know I would have never done that, because that would have been rude!
Also, after that conversation with husband, I again did not ask him about having another baby. Seriously, 5 kids? Well, I have to be honest here...I did indeed ask hubby about baby #5...
Speaking of kids...we were, right? I did not send my dear sweet husband to make the most awesome purchase EVER! We got a double stroller, not just any double stroller. I LOVE this stroller. I had a BabyTrend sit and stand deluxe and I HATED it! (Did I mention that I hated that stroller?) It was worse than trying to drive an 18-wheeler thru the store, wide turns and all. Well, I have not taken this one into a clothing store, but I can only imagine that when I do, it will drive like a dream. So, if you are in the market for a new double stroller, especially one that fits a growing 3 year old, go check this out! I thought I had a picture of both kids in it, guess not...

Friday, I did not go on a field trip with Sour Apple's class to The Museum of Natural Science. I also did not beg my mother to go, nor did I take a 3 year old or a 5 month old. That would have just been plain crazy. And since none of that happened, we did not have a great time.
Since we were not already right beside the train outside the zoo, we did not take the little boys for a ride before we left. That might have been a fun thing to do, and we cannot have any of that! You will never see pictures to prove it either!
Oh...and I am really glad that this did not happen...when we got in the car, my mother did not have a message on her phone from MY alarm company saying that my garage detector had been activated and the police had been called! WHAT? I am an hour away and this was 2 1/2 hours ago! Just great, wouldn't that have been loads of fun to deal with on our way home if it had indeed happened? You will be happy to know though that if this had indeed happened, that it was just the wind and an unsecured side door...wheew!
It is a really good thing that we did not go too, because traffic was HORRIBLE on the way home. That would have meant that I would have gotten back to the school WAY after the bus full of children did, AND that Sour Apple would have had to wait there for over an hour for me to arrive to pick him up! Sooo glad that none of that actually happened. I might have been voted Mother of the Year! And...I might have had a kid fall asleep in the car...
Another good reason that none of that could have happened is because we had company waiting for use at home and it would have taken, ooohhhh...let's say 30 more minutes than usual to get home from school. AND since Boog did not have basketball at 5:30, it sure was nice to be able to come home and sit down and relax for the rest of the night since I had not been gone all day.
Oh, and I almost forgot. I did not buy one of these so that I can make my own babyfood. Since I did not buy that, I cannot tell you how great the food was. Too bad, now we might never know!

Saturday night, we were not invited over to our friends' house for food and fun, good thing too, hubs had to work today and it might have been really hard on him to get up and go to work today after all of that yummy Mexitalian food we would have had. Not to mention the fact of how late it would have been when we got home. Man, I am sooo glad that did not happen.
I am glad my little Tutti-Frutti is not keeping me up all night anymore. I would be really tired if that were still happening...{yawn} Good thing is though, at least if it really were happening, he is certianly not the most beautiful baby in the whole stinkin' world! See for yourself...
Now...go on over to MckMama's and see what everyone else has not been doing...
Wow. 9 Kids and Disney. She is a brave, brave woman!
ReplyDeleteWow.. I think YOU'RE brave to take four kids to Disney. You're outnumbered, woman... look out! Whew... it sounds like you had a really busy week! But with 4 kids, I'm guessing that's the way they all are, right? Have a wonderful Monday!

ReplyDeleteCongrats on #5!
ReplyDeleteGreat Not Me post.. and in the top ten, wow! I also had that darn baby trend sit and stand. Used it two times, of course not cursing the entire time, and then sold it for CHEAP at my yard sale. Couldn't stand to look at the darn thing anymore... JUST PLAIN AWFUL!!
