Holy Scottish Stormtrooper Batman!

This weekend we enjoyed the nice weather by going to The Renaissance Festival (AKA "The Best-A-Bul" as Little Booger so called it.) We did not get a chance to see any of our favorite shows this time, but we did get a chance to blow all of our money on riding fun stuff and playing games! We did manage to find the only Scottish Stormtrooper known to man though, can't beat that. What we did not manage to do very well was take pictures, the day sort of got away from us. It was really windy, there was a lot of dirt blowing and we had two strollers to deal with. We tried to keep the camera safe so in turn, I guess we just did not go to the trouble of repeatedly taking the camera out. Sorry. We did have the kids pictures taken by Whimsy's Muse though so go check them out, I am not sure how long they will be available online but I will add my photos when we get them back.

Little Booger wanted to ride the "big swing." It was fun but my arms were worn out by the time we finished. He giggled thru the whole thing, so of course any pain was worth it.

Boog talked Daddy into riding the elephant, that is honestly what he was looking forward to the most. He had such a great time, he waved the whole time.

Daddy and Boog also rode the (what I will call) maypole, it was a huge round bucket sort of thing that was attatched to a tall pole with ropes. Two young lads were in charge of turning the bucket in circles until the ropes were tight, then...off they went in fast circles around the pole, around and around they went. Little Booger laughing the entire time. Of course as a mommy, I did not think it could possibly be a good idea seeing how fast and long the thing spun. Boy was I wrong!

Then we had funnel cake! He was covered with powdered sugar but before we could drag the camera out, he had wiped the majority of it off.

It was a great day and we had lots of fun, I just wish there would have been more pictures!
