Whoa, what a 2 weeks since my last Not me! I was not super happy that we skipped the Not me's! last week. I might have felt more unnecessary pressure to get my post done.
Since you last heard read, I did not break my ankle, nope, not me! I am not so clumsy that I would have fallen...INTO a boat. Nope, never would have happened. Glad it didn't either, because you might have noticed the counter in the top right corner that says something like 6ish days to Disney World! Wheew, glad I am all in one piece. I mean seriously, who wants to be in a stylish walking boot to go to Disney World!
Speaking of the trip we are not taking to Disney in 6 days, I am not so unorganized that my upstairs game room looks like a department store erupted and clothes flew everywhere! Nope, I am on task and ALL of our stuff is packed and sitting by the door waiting to be loaded. I have everything we could possibly need or want, all packed up nicely in matching luggage and color coordinated by person, including any overnight bags we need for the trip.
I am not so excited that I can barely contain myself and my kids are not absolutely busting at the seams wanting to know how many more days we have. Nope, not them. They do not get excited.
Did I mention that I DO NOT ABSOLUTELY HATE THIS WALKING BOOT THAT IS ON MY FOOT? Nope, I love it. I do not know how I have lived my life without it. It is stylish, light, cool, and the most wonderful color of black, it is comfortable and super easy to walk in. I just love how it makes my heel feel too! Yep, I love this thing! I am going to get one for everyone I know. 
Please let me know ASAP if you too would like to be added to my list to receive one of these beauties! Taking orders through tomorrow at noon CST! Come on, you KNOW you want one!
Well, I am not going to cut this short because I have to hobble run excitedly to Target with 3 kids in tow.
If any of you have any suggestions on how to make this boot more comfortable, please do NOT leave a comment with your suggestion...I do NOT want any help with this! Oh, and I have not purchased 2 different types of gel heel pads along with trying out the heel cup the doctor's office gave me.
That is my Not me! for this week. I will not be taking the next 2 Mondays off, because I will not be at Disney World with my family having the time of my life stuck in this stinkin boot sporting a cool walking boot!

ReplyDeleteWe just returned from DW. Hope you have a blast! Maybe the boot will allow you to use the much quicker handicapped lines.
ReplyDeleteWell as you already know I have one! That Ive been wearing for 5 weeks now! I know you dont want to hear this but the most comfortable thing was to NOT walk on it for a week or more but use crutches. In fact, mine hurt so bad that I couldnt WALK for 4 weeks! You dont want to make it worse! We need our feet later in life! LOL Good luck at Disney!! As hard as it is to get used to.. enjoy being pushed in a wheel chair and people doing things for you!!!
