Welcome to Not me! Monday, where we can be brutally honest and live to tell about it.
This has not been the longest week ever it seems. Nope, I have no reason to complain, it was only a 4 day return to reality week!
To celebrate the week coming to an end, it is not me and my children who have been in our pajamas since Friday night! Nope, I would never ever do that to my kids. We did not have baths Friday night and put pajamas on to only be still wearing them on Sunday afternoon! Nope, never.
*Side note, I did bathe last night and put my pajamas back on! The children on the other hand...nah, not so much.
I have not been thinking about nothing but a Dairy Queen dipped ice cream cone daily since it has been cold around here this last week. It is not me that cannot seem to kick the idea out of my head that I should just put the kids in the car (in their pajamas) and take them to DQ so we can get ice cream! Nope, not me. I am more logical than that. I would never drag my kids out in these temps just to satisfy my desire for ice cream. Good gracious no, the high has only been in the 30s! Now, just for the record, we were out on Friday and went by to get a cone and the machine was froze up, the water going to DQ had frozen so no ice cream cones for us.
It is not my sweet little children who have been waking me up at all hours of the night and then insisting on waking up and getting up this weekend at the lovely hour of just 6am! Nope, they love to sleep.
It is not me who just loves the cold weather we have been having. Nope, not me. I love the sweltering heat we normally have. I am not enjoying bundling up one bit!
It is not my precious youngest child who has turned into a screaming wild child the last few days, from what I am hoping is new teeth coming in. You know, then at least there would be a reason for it!
It is not me who is considering breaking the record for most hours staying home in pj's tonight because I do not want to cook or clean up the mess. Humm, anyone know of a "come in your pajamas" kind of restaraunt around here? Hehe
Happy Not Me'ing...run on over to MckMama's and see what else people have not been doing lately!
Yum! A dipped cone from Dairy Queen sounds really yummy...even if it is freezing outside:) I love pj days...so pj weekends have to be great!
ReplyDeleteHope you had fun on your PJ weekend... as for me now I am going to have to head to DQ after work.
ReplyDeleteA PJ weekend sounds wonderful! I finally got my pajama day, and loved it!
ReplyDeleteNow I'm hungry for DQ!
I hope your youngest cheers up and that the kids let you get some sleep.
