Busy, busy, busy...

Wow...I did not die, well at least I do not think I did. We have been super busy lately, though I am not exactly sure what we were busy doing.

I do know that my blogging has been suffering and I apologize to those of you who have been waiting with baited breath for me to post something new and exciting. I hate to overly disappoint, but there is not much that is new or exciting. Well, except that I shot my very first wedding last weekend well, technically it was my second but who is keeping track of that and had a great time doing it! I guess I was a ball of nerves for months for no reason! Wheew!

We finished up soccer season, started basketball season, got report cards, (and yes everyone is still alive!) visited the pre-school petting zoo, went to family night, lived through another school project, daddy and Sour Apple attended the Science Fair meeting, (if we live through this it will be a miracle!) had a birthday party, started handing out links to my photo blog in hopes I will get a few bites, (I have gotten 7 so far!)attended a funeral, attended a birthday party, attended a fall festival and zooboo. (that will be a blog post totally on it's own!)

So, see? I guess we have been a little busy. I am feeling horribly guilty for not doing Weekly Wednesday for a few weeks now. Man, poor neglected baby. It was all about my precious baby and then he turned 1. Poor thing.

Speaking of the baby...he is not technically walking, but he is taking up to 6 steps on his own. Do not worry, I know he is a later walker. My other 2 boys were too. Sour Apple was 13 months before he took steps and Boog was a little over 14 months before he started to take any steps, they were both late crawlers too. Tutti-Frutti was by far the earliest crawler so we were sure he would be up and moving around earlier than the others but then again, why walk when you have Mommy, Daddy and older siblings to carry you? I do not blame him, too much work and for no reason!

In other news, I have tons of pictures to share. I do not know if I will get around to it today, since I am proofing wedding pictures and doing a quick update here at the same time. I guess I can do a random post with nothing but pictures from before I was MIA. Oh, I forgot, we had the pleasure of spending a week with Gingerbread Man (Boog's class pet stuffed panguin) and we did all sorts of fun things while he was here too!

Well, I am off for now. Just wanted to assure all of you dear readers that I am still indeed alive and kicking, just always on the move. Next on the agenda...a laptop! I would get so much more done if I had one of those little gems. I spend a lot of time in the car. sitting. doing nothing. waiting on kids. letting kids sleep. waiting in carpool. waiting for school to start. You know...always waiting. If I had a lovely laptop, I could get a lot of work accomplished while the little people were strapped in snuggly sleeping!

Hopefully it will not be long before I am back with a blogging vengance! Till then...
