A few Fridays ago was our last MOPS meeting for this semester, and anyone who has been reading my blog for any length of time, knows that Boog is not a fan of going into his class for MOPS or church. So...we had dropped the big kids off at school and he always knows something is up when we (he, Tutti-Frutti and I) leave the house completely dressed and ready to go out that early. He started in with the "Where are we going?" as soon as Sour Apple got out of the car, I did not want to lie to him (you know, that is not a good thing to do to your kids!) so I just ignored him (yea, that was a better thing to do!) he continued and as we got closer to the church, he figured it out...see, when he knows that is where we are going, the "Where are we going's?" turn into wails of "I don't wanna go to my class...I don't want you to leave me in my class!" So that is why I try to keep it quiet until the last minute possible. Well, this particular day none of that happened. He just very calmly stated from his seat in the way back as he calls it, "Mommy, I don't want to go to my class. It is too hard to breathe!" So that sums it up...it is all because of the air! Ha!

Yesterday...from the way back, I hear the sweetest most adorable little voice say to me...
"Mommy, when we get home can I text message Lexi while I wait on you to get my strawberries?" Oh my! At a brand new 4
*Lexi is the daughter of some friends of ours and Boog thinks she just hung the moon! She is 5.
Awww I have a daughter who was the same way, pitched a big ol fit to go to class. I think that is so cute he wanted to text a little girl!
ReplyDeleteHi Mama - I just started following your blog. I am not sure where I got it from...maybe McMama's site or Kayleigh's. Your kids are just adorable, especially Tutti Frutti! I am just amazed by his pics and how darned cute he is. I think you are hilarious! I love not me Mondays! I don't have a blog...thinking of doing one, but I don't have alot of time. I work full time and my hubby stays home with the baby (he's 4 1/2 months) - he runs two businesses out of our house so he can still work and stay home. Take care! Michele from Connecticut
