Oh boy...this kid is the best!
Boog: Mommy, I need some medicine on my skeeto bites.
Me: Go to sleep Boog, we will get some in the morning. (Compassion at it's best!)
Boog: Mommy, I need some medicine. (Tutti-Frutti screaming like he is dying, so tired he cannot stand himself and me needing a break before I have a total melt down.)
Me: Daddy, would you please find something to put on Boog's bites?
Daddy: (grumbling-he has been dozing off and on now for a while...) Ok
Boog: (tugging on the legs of his pajama's trying to pull them down to cover the bites.) Uuuuh! I need some pants to cover my uncles...

Boog still messing with the pajamas...I need some long sleeve pants on!

And on to the subject of babies...
Boog: Mommy...Was I in your tummy in the fish picture?
Me: Huh? What fish picture?
Boog: The fish picture with you and Daddy at that place. (that clears it up!)
Me: Oh, the place with the fish in the background? On the computer? Joe's Crab shack...No, you were not in Mommy's tummy yet.
Boog: Obviously disgusted that we dare have any kind of a life Pre-Boog. Oh...was Sour Apple AND Lemon Drop in your tummy in the fish picture?
Me: Holding back laughter...No, they were not in my tummy then. They were big, like you. Sour Apple was 5 and Lemon Drop was 4. They were at Gee Gee's house.
Boog: Oh. Where was I after I was in your tummy?
Me: At the hospital.
Boog: Oh, then I got BACK in your tummy?
Me: Roaring with laughter now...uh, no...You did not get back in my tummy.
Boog: Are you gonna get another baby in your tummy?
Me: I don't know, maybe.
Boog: Oh. I don't want you to do that.
Me: Why? You are an awesome big brother. And then Tutti-Frutti could be a big brother too.
Boog: *giggling* Yeah...

Speaking of Tutti-Frutti...we were, right?
Why won't this kid sleep? He used to be a wonderful sleeper, now...not so much. What happened to my sweet sleeping baby boy? Where did he go? I want him back! This new one will not go to sleep, if he does, he will not stay asleep and if he manages to sleep for a little while, he still wakes up early after going to sleep late! Sheesh! He wakes up screeching, sometimes hungry, sometimes not. I sometimes put him in our bed just to try to get a little sleep! That more often than not still does not work. I feed him, burp him and put him back down and he is still right back up within a few hours. Sometimes I just put him in our bed when he does not want to eat and he scratches, wiggles, grunts, rolls...you name it (well, except for sleep) Uggg!
He's so cute! As for the not sleeping...I'm sorry! Nobody should go through my misery! :P Have you tried having him sleep on his belly? It's the miracle cure for us. Had anything new in your diet? When Ryan has gas pains he squirms and grunts and screams in pain. Sorry he's having problems!!
