Not me! Monday

Welcome to Not me! Monday, where we can be brutally honest and live to tell about it.

I have not been waiting all day for a phone call that was scheduled for between 9am and 10am this morning. Nope, I never have to wait on anything, espcially a phone call. I have way more important things to be doing...like showering!

When 9am rolled around and passed on to 10am, I did not get a little worked up, wondering why on earth my call had not come in. Nope, not me. I am a very patient person.

When 11am rolled around, I was not getting more agitated and did not call the office and find out that they were running a "little" behind.

I had not been neglecting to take a shower for fear of getting in and the phone ringing. Nope, like I said, I have way more important things to be doing besides sitting around waiting for the phone to ring.

When 12pm rolled around, I did not assume that the office was probably closed for lunch. But instead of getting into the shower, I did not decide just to read my book since Tutti-Frutti was napping. Nope, I jumped right on the chance to get that shower.

When 1pm rolled around, I was not still reading my book. Nope, I had showered, dried and fixed my hair and gotten dressed by now!

When 2pm finally rolled around, Tutti-Frutti was not up from his nap and fussing. Nope, he is always in a good mood. Since I had yet to receive the phone call, I did not decided that I really needed to get a move on. I mean seriously, it is 2pm and I have not (really) so much as taken a shower.

2:15, I did not decide to just lean over the tub and wash my hair so I could hear the phone. Nope, really? Was the phone call THIS important that I was willing to just wash my hair instead of showering?!?

I was not so afraid that the phone would ring while I was washing my hair and that I would not hear it that I put it on the back edge of the tub risking it falling into the running water. Nope, I LOVE my phone too much to risk that for any kind of phone call.

When 2:30pm rolled around, I did not just resign to the fact that I was probably just not going to get the phone call today. Nope, they said they would call today, between 9 and 10, I am sure they were just running a "bit" late. I then did not just decide to hop in the tub really quick and wash off.

While in the tub, I did not put my beloved phone on the edge once again for fear of missing the call. Nope, remember I would never risk my phone falling in water!

Since the phone had not rang yet, there is no chance whatsoever that the (you guessed it) phone rang while I was IN the tub bathing. Nope, that did not happen.

I had not been looking so forward to this call all day that I just dried my hands off and answered it right from the tub. Nope, I would never talk on the phone while I was in the tub. Who does that?!?

When I was put on hold while on said phone call, there is no way that I just continued to wash myself either. When the lady came back, I did not continue to wash and rinse as if nothing else were going on. Nope, that would have been rude.

I did not get out of the tub, dry off and dress all while on the phone. Nope. Never.

Oh yea, and the lady on the other end of the phone? Well, she never even had a clue what was going on on the other end of the phone! :)

Happy Monday! Head on over to MckMama's and see what everone else has not been doing...
