Checkin' out the room...Vacation day 2

Well, I looked...and these are the only pictures I have from our first day there. LOL. It was hard work dealing with a baby, a walking boot, a stroller and a wheelchair. And of course the heat. On our first day, we had a late start. We had arrived the night before but had to stay in a different hotel, so when we got up, we had breakfast, went to the new hotel to check in then headed to the park. We hit Magic Kingdom first but only stayed there for a little while. We had dinner reservations at the Coral Reef at Epcot and some friends of ours were at Epcot as well. We hopped on the bus to go by our room first, then it was over to meet our friends and have some dinner. If you ever make it to Disney, you have to eat at the Coral Reef (and everywhere else we ate!) the food there was awesome.

We stayed in Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort in one of their newly redecorated Pirate themed rooms. They were really cool. This was the curtain that separated the bedroom from the bathroom. I thought I got more pictures because there was an engraved Flying Dutchman in the shower, and the TV was sitting on what looked like stacked crates. It was really neat, sorry I missed those pictures.

The headboard had a wheel and that is where Boog loved to hang out.

The comforters looked like gold coins and treasure.

If you are headed to Disney and have a small pirate of your own, we definitely recommend this place! It is really big and stretched out but it is worth the walk. Hopefully I have some pictures of the pool from another day. It was neat too. They also had beaches with hammocks but sadly, we did not get a chance to relax in those. :(
